- TWO Mondays from 6-8pm on Jan 5th & 12th OR
- TWO Mondays from 6-8pm on March 23rd & 30th
Give yourself the gift of knowledge this holiday season!
In this class, Carissa and Theresa will teach you several cast on/bind off pairs for matching edges, and will also take you through some special techniques for specific knitting situations (like extra stretchy cuffs, provisional cast ons, and adding stitches in the middle of the work).
What you need to know and be comfortable completing without help from the instructor (or you're willing to learn before this class): How to knit, purl, and knit in the round
What you'll learn in this class: Cast on and bind off techniques and when to use them
Required Materials:
Yarn: Please bring a skein of yarn appropriate for practicing - we recommend something light colored that isn't fuzzy and no thinner than sport weight
Needles: Needles of an appropriate size for your yarn
Notions: Tapestry needle, scissors

- Two 2-hour class sessions with expert instruction by Theresa & Carissa

Class Policies
- All class fees are non-refundable. If you have a conflict, you must notify us 48 hours before the start date of your first class in order to receive store credit. We will always do our best to help you reschedule, but it may not always be possible.
- Our group classes are for students ages 12 and up. Younger students are welcome to join us for private lessons. We highly recommend a parent or guardian be present for the duration of the lesson.
- No store credit will be issued for unattended classes and no store credit will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date of the first class.
- We put the health and safety of all our staff and community members first. If you have been exposed to Covid or you are otherwise feeling unwell, we ask that you please stay home.
- We have a class minimum of 3 students, so it’s never a bad idea to sign up with a friend or two! If you are the only student that signs up for one of our classes, we will contact you ahead of time and issue a full refund if there is a cancellation on our part.
- We understand that sometimes students need some extra help outside of class, so we offer Project Support and Private Lessons.
- For our students to get personalized attention, we like to keep our class sizes small. For this reason, we require students to sign up in advance for all of our classes, lessons, and project support sessions.
