Like it's DK weight older sibling Herriot, Herriot fine is also made from ultra soft, baby fine alpaca. Held alone, this yarn is light and has gorgeous drape while still providing considerable warmth. The addition of nylon gives this yarn durability, making it a quality sock yarn or a great addition to a colorwork sock project. Hold alongside a second, heavier yarn to add soft warmth and depth of color.
