In 2026, we're making space for new yarn that inspires us!
Knit 1 is hosting a yarn swap & stitch-in for our community! Join us if you have some special skeins that are no longer bringing you joy, and give them a new home.
Saturday, January 24th 5-7pm
SNACKS: We'll have some snacks, but feel free to bring something to share!
STITCHING: Join us to swap and stitch together in community after-hours at the shop!
SPACE (RSVP): Space is limited, so please RSVP by registering for this event. Please only sign up if you intend on showing up and let us know if you will no longer be attending so that we can open up spots for others. Thanks!
SWAP DETAILS:
- You have 2 options for what to bring:
- OPTION 1: Bring UP TO THREE skeins/balls of DIFFERENT yarns
- OPTION 2: Bring ONE sweater/large project quantity of the SAME yarn
- Yarn must be clean, smoke and pet hair-free, in new condition.
- Bring your yarn in a clear, sealed baggie.
- If you have a question about the yarn you're bringing, please call us ahead of time or shoot an email.
- If your yarn is not chosen by someone, you must take it home with you. We don't have space for yarn donations at this time.
- You must bring yarn to take yarn! This is a yarn swap, so bring something to exchange!

Class Policies
- All class fees are non-refundable. If you have a conflict, you must notify us 7 days before the start date of your first class in order to receive store credit. We will always do our best to help you reschedule, but it may not always be possible.
- Our group classes and private lessons are designed for adults ages 18 and up.
- No store credit will be issued for unattended classes and no store credit will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the start date of the first class.
- We put the health and safety of all our staff and community members first. If you have been exposed to Covid or you are otherwise feeling unwell, we ask that you please stay home.
- We have a class minimum of 3 students, so it’s never a bad idea to sign up with a friend or two! If you are the only student that signs up for one of our classes, we will contact you ahead of time and issue a full refund if there is a cancellation on our part.
- We understand that sometimes students need some extra help outside of class, so we offer Project Support and Private Lessons.
- For our students to get personalized attention, we like to keep our class sizes small. For this reason, we require students to sign up in advance for all of our classes, lessons, and project support sessions.
