It's time to get grounded.

It’s autumn…a time of year when life pulls us in a million directions.

We lose track of our own center, abandon ourselves to obligations, and forget what it feels like to truly feel at home inside our own skin.

This Become Along – Grounded Being – is designed to help you to anchor into your body, reclaim your inherent worth, and create stability, clarity, safety, and validation from the inside out.

Over the course of 10 weeks, you’ll infuse a knitting or crochet project of your choice with your energy, intentions, and desires.

By the end of our time together, you won’t simply have a beautiful handmade piece…you’ll be able to hold, wear, or give a physical manifestation of your healing, your learning, your expansion…

…a talisman of your becoming.

1 sacred project. 10 Fridays together. In person or via Zoom.

Opening & Closing Ceremonies: We’ll gather at the beginning and end of our journey together to “cast” the spell of our intentions and “bind” them to our stitched projects

Weekly Contemplations: Every Monday, you’ll receive voice notes from Breean — contemplations, prompts, and reflections to receive while you stitch your project

Community Support, Sharing & Witnessing: As you stitch and reflect, you’re invited to share your insights, stories, and progress in the group chat

Weekly Gatherings: Every Friday, we’ll gather (in person or via Zoom) to stitch, share insights & stories, reflect, witness, and celebrate one another

TEN FRIDAY SESSIONS

FRIDAYS: October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, November 7th, 14th, 21st, and December 5th, 12th.

Virtual & In Person Options

  • VIRTUAL: via Zoom, Fridays @ 1-3pm CT
  • IN PERSON: at Knit 1 in Chicago, Fridays 6-8pm CT, limited to 16 people

Please select either virtual OR in person during checkout.

The Friday ceremonies and weekly gatherings will NOT be recorded and may only be experienced live.

Pricing with Integrity & Care

This offering is rooted in belonging — and belonging means access. To honor the different financial realities in our community, I’m offering a sliding scale with three tiers.

Scholarship TierFor those who need support.
If paying the full price would prevent you from joining, this tier is here for you. Please choose this option with honesty and self-awareness. It’s held open by the generosity of others, because your presence matters.

Supporter TierFor those who can pay the regular price.
This is the current cost of the beta version of this program. If paying at this level feels doable without financial strain, this is your place. It keeps the circle sustainable and thriving.

Sponsor TierFor those with capacity to give more.
If your circumstances allow, consider choosing this tier. By doing so, you’re directly making it possible for others to join at the Scholarship Tier. It’s an act of reciprocity and abundance, weaving generosity into the fabric of our community.

PLEASE NOTE: If you're trying to sign up for the in person option and the pricing tier that you'd like to select is sold out, please email breean@knit1chgo.com because I may be able to adjust the availability. I had to stratify the options while limiting the number of seats...so the quantity for each option was my best guess!

This offering is intended for adults. Please read our class policies before signing up for the Become Along.

    Class Policies

    • All class fees are non-refundable. If you have a conflict, you must notify us 48 hours before the start date of your first class in order to receive store credit. We will always do our best to help you reschedule, but it may not always be possible.
    • Our group classes are for students ages 12 and up. Younger students are welcome to join us for private lessons. We highly recommend a parent or guardian be present for the duration of the lesson.
    • No store credit will be issued for unattended classes and no store credit will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date of the first class.
    • We put the health and safety of all our staff and community members first. If you have been exposed to Covid or you are otherwise feeling unwell, we ask that you please stay home.
    • We have a class minimum of 3 students, so it’s never a bad idea to sign up with a friend or two! If you are the only student that signs up for one of our classes, we will contact you ahead of time and issue a full refund if there is a cancellation on our part.
    • We understand that sometimes students need some extra help outside of class, so we offer Project Support and Private Lessons.
    • For our students to get personalized attention, we like to keep our class sizes small. For this reason, we require students to sign up in advance for all of our classes, lessons, and project support sessions.
