Knit School: Reading Cable Charts
Monday, February 24th 6-8:00pm
Did you know that most cable charts can be read without ever needing to refer to the pattern key? Are you having trouble understanding what a cable chart is trying to tell you? Never fear! In this 2 hour class we will go over how to read a cable chart so you know how many stitches are in a cable, how many stitches you hold on the cable needle, and where you hold them. We’ll also talk about different ways to make cable charts easier to read intuitively.
What you need to know: Students should be able to knit & purl comfortably.
Required materials: Bring a Cable Needle! We’ll provide additional materials for you to practice with during class.
This class is intended for adults. We welcome our younger knitters in private lessons only. For inquiries reach out to info@knit1chgo.com
