OK, So Size Does Matter

Many of you have written to tell me that the emails you received with the blog posts were too small to read.  I couldn't figure it out, but with this post it should be fixed.  Thank you for telling me, and please let me know if this is better.

Ok, now that that's better... The Yarn Crawl, OMG.  This is a hoot!!!  Thank you all for traveling across the regions to visit me and shop and share your projects.  It's so nice to meet you all.

Tomorrow night, Wednesday, for Open Knit Night I have some special things for you.  It's Local Night!  Anything in the store that is produced locally is 15% off.  We have yarn, books, project bags, patterns all from our wonderful local talent.  I'm going to pick up some local treats for us to enjoy and Mary Beth Klatt, local author and knitter is going to talk about Smartphone Apps for fiber artists and crafters.  She'll be joining us about 7.  So, grab a beverage next door at Delicious Cafe and come on over and knit and crochet and shop and visit.

Saturdays, Sept. 11, 25, Oct. 2 and 9

Tunisian Crochet/ Project Class
Sept. 13, 27, Oct. 4 and 11

Think of this as Intermediate Tunisian Crochet.  If you've experimented with this technique and you'd like to take it further this is the place.  I will be posting some of the projects that I've seen and some of the books that are available on this topic.  It's really taking off and there are some super cool things out there.  If you know how to crochet and would like to try your hand at a garment, you may join this class also.  Tashia will be here to offer hands on guidance and help.  We are going to keep this class small, so there is ample opportunity for individual attention.
