The Citrus Summer Shopper is the perfect summer accessory for the farmer's market or just for walking around the city in style. This market bag works up quickly but adds some fun new crochet skills to your repertoire.
What you need to know and be comfortable completing without help from the instructor (or you're willing to learn before this class): Students should be familiar with crochet chain and double crochet stitches
What you’ll learn in this class: Crochet in the round, how to seam crochet pieces together, how to read a crochet pattern

Yarn: The Citrus Summer Shopper is designed to be made with two strands of fingering weight yarn together but can be worked with a single strand of DK. Gauge is not super important for this bag but altering the gauge will change the final product.
- MC: (color of citrus) 696 yds
- CC1: (coordinating citrus color) 174 yds
- CC2: (cream for pith) 174 yds
Recommended yarns from the shop: Juniper Moon Farms Ultimate Pima, Malabrigo Verano, Queensland Coastal Cotton, Katia Puro Cotone
Hook: 2.75 mm hook
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, 6 stainless steel jump rings, and optional 2 sets of hook and eye bracelet closures

Class Policies
- All class fees are non-refundable. If you have a conflict, you must notify us 48 hours before the start date of your first class in order to receive store credit. We will always do our best to help you reschedule, but it may not always be possible.
- No store credit will be issued for unattended classes and no store credit will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date of the first class.
- We put the health and safety of all our staff and community members first. If you have been exposed to Covid or you are otherwise feeling unwell, we ask that you please stay home.
- We have a class minimum of 3 students, so it’s never a bad idea to sign up with a friend or two! If you are the only student that signs up for one of our classes, we will contact you ahead of time and issue a full refund if there is a cancellation on our part.
- We understand that sometimes students need some extra help outside of class, so we offer Project Support and Private Lessons.
- For our students to get personalized attention, we like to keep our class sizes small. For this reason, we require students to sign up in advance for all of our classes, lessons, and project support sessions.
