A fantastic class for first-time sock knitters!
FOUR Mondays from 6pm-8pm on the following dates: June 23rd, July 14th & 21st, August 4th
Nothing like fresh strawberries in the summertime! The Itty Bitty Berry Socks combine a two-color picot edge, short row sock heel, and stunning colorwork to create the cutest summer sock. This class will take you through every step of the sock-knitting process, helping you determine the perfect fit for your socks.
Want to take this class, but maybe you're feeling like it’d be good to start with a simpler sock? You’re in luck! Our “Learn to Knit Socks” class is a great way to learn the basics of socks before diving into this colorwork sock!
What you need to know and be comfortable completing without help from the instructor (or you're willing to learn before this class): How to knit and purl in the round, knitting in a small circumference using double pointed needles or magic loop, stranded colorwork knitting (including catching floats)
What you'll learn in this class: How to achieve gauge for a sock, short row sock heel, two color picot edge, colorwork in the round in a small circumference
