Knit the adorable cabled lace Kylie Pullover sweater!

FOUR Sundays from 10am to 12pm on the following dates: May 4th & 18th, June 1st & 15th

Want to stretch your knitting skills but starting to feel the summer heat?

The Kylie pullover is the perfect transitional statement piece. Its cable and lace design can be dressed up or down for any outfit and looks great as a summer or fall staple.

In this class you will gain practice reading charts, knitting lace and simple cables, and working a less common shoulder construction that creates a sleek design with no seaming!

Knit up the Kylie pullover in your choice of long or short sleeves for your perfect fit.

What you need to know and be comfortable completing without help from the instructor (or you're willing to learn before this class): How to knit and purl in the round, knitting in a small circumference, German short rows

What you'll learn in this class: Back to front top-down sweater construction, knitting cables, knitting lace, reading charts, tubular bind off

Required Materials:

We hope you'll consider supporting us by purchasing your materials at Knit 1!

Yarn: The gauge is 20 sts x 24rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking. You will need 960 to 1440 yards of Worsted or Light Worsted weight yarn.

Note: The total yarn amount is for the cropped version, you may need more yardage when extending the length of the body or sleeves. For the short sleeve, subtract 240 yards from total yardage.

Recommended yarns from the shop: Katia Concept Cotton-Merino Tones, Juniper Moon Farms Cotton + Merino, Juniper Moon Farms Cumulus, Noro Hanui Cotton, Malabrigo Rios, Plucky Knitter Primo Worsted, Plymouth Sea Isle

Needles: US 6 (body and sleeves) and US 4 (neckline, hem & cuffs) circular needles in various cord lengths between 24” and 47”, or needle size required for you to get gauge. For the sleeves, use your preferred method for knitting small circumference (double pointed needles, 9" or 12" circulars, Magic Loop).

Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, cable needle, barber cord or scrap yarn for holding stitches
